Championship Day 3: Campbell and Vorha Fall

$3,500 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship
Level 26: 20,000/40,000/5,000 Ante

One of Seminole Hard Rock’s top Omaha players and a WPT favorite have both fallen in a matter of mintues here at the WPT Poker Showdown.

Robert Campbell was the first to be eliminated.  Campbell pushed his short stack in and was called by Steven McKoy.  Campbell was sitting on 6d6c but McKoy showed the pocket rockets with AcAs.  McKoy all but shut down the hand on a 7hAh9s flop and the board ran out Jd2d knocking him out in 23rd place.

Raj Vorha was the next to go.  After managing a double-up after a devastating hand, Raj was all-in preflop with his 210,000 chip stack with two callers.  After a Qs7c7h flop, Moshin Charania bet John Thrower out of the hand and showed Vorha he’d hit trips with Ts7s.  Vorha only had Ks5c and was sent to the rail in 22nd.

We’re only three eliminations away from the end of the night here in the championship event with 21 remaining this evening.
