Day 2 of the $3,500 WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open Championship began with 553 players of the initial 1,982 entries. By day’s end, only 87 remain in the hunt for the first-place prize of $975,240.

Leading the way after Day 2 is WPT Player of the Year Jake Ferro with 2,235,000 (89 big blinds). Ferro is fresh off his runner-up finish at the 2021 RRPO Championship and is in pole position entering Day 3, closely followed by Cherish Andrews with 2,200,000 (88 big blinds).
