John McDonald

John McDonald raised under the gun to 200,000, Raj Vohra reraised from the small blind to 750,000, and McDonald thought for a while before he four-bet all in for about 2,000,000.

Vohra quickly called with 9s9h, and McDonald turned over AcKs. McDonald needed to improve to stay alive.

The board came 9c7d5h8d2h — Vohra flopped a set of nines, the turn put a gutshot straight draw on the board for a possible chop, but the river card missed. Vohra won the pot with his set of nines to eliminate McDonald in 16th place.
