Ryan Hoenig
Ryan Hoenig has won three trophies this series, and made a deep run here in the Championship in pursuit of his fourth, which would have set a record.

Ryan Hoenig raised from the cutoff to 150,000, and Frank Funaro called from the big blind.

Both players checked to the river on a board of Qh10h8dKs4c, and Funaro moved all in on the river for about 3.85 million. Hoenig went into the tank for a long time.

Hoenig used five Time Chips to tank for nearly three minutes before he called all in for about 1.8 million with As5c for an ace-high hero call.

But Funaro turned over KcQs to win the pot with two pair, kings and queens, eliminating Hoenig in 20th place.

“This is going to look really fucking stupid,” said Hoenig as he got up to leave. “Good game.”

There will be no dinner break today, and the field will play as many 90-minute levels as it takes to reach the final two tables (16 players).
