Alexander Farahi raised from the hijack to 150,000, Micah Raskin called from the button, and Michael Amato reraised from the big blind to 1,700,000, leaving himself just 75,000 behind.

Farahi moved all in, and Raskin folded.

At this point, Ryan Hoenig was eliminated in 20th place at another table, meaning everyone still in the field made an additional $6,000 with the pay jump.

Amato called all in for 1,775,000 with KsJs, and he needed to improve to stay alive against Farahi’s 9d9c.

The board came KdQd7c6dAc, and Amato paired his king on the flop to win the pot and double up in chips.

Michael Amato  –  3,825,000  (51 bb)
Alexander Farahi  –  1,400,000  (19 bb)

With 19 players remaining from a field of 1,417, the average chip stack is around 3,725,000 (50 big blinds). The remaining players are guaranteed at least $38,500 each.

There will be no dinner break today, and the field will play as many 90-minute levels as it takes to reach the final two tables (16 players).
