$1,000,000 Guaranteed | Structure | Payouts
Level 16:  3,000/5,000 with a 5,000 ante
Players Remaining:  772 of 7,703

The opening tournament on the 2022 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open schedule was not subtle with its turnout. Our players came out in force, old friends and new, to put up a record-setting field with 7,703 entries and a $2.5 million prize pool for a $400 buy-in tournament.

Each flight played down to 10% and combined to bring 772 players back for Day 2 in the money. Everyone is guaranteed at least $763 but they all return with an eye toward the $308,979 top prize.

Rudy Pena and David Albertson went huge in their early flights, each with more than 900K in their stack while the closest was 300,000 behind. A bunch of players gave chase in the last two flights to close the gap with Steven Stolzenfeld, Nick Raio, and Frank Dyska rounding out the top five.

Cards go back in the air at 1 pm and we expect action to fly throughout the day with everyone already surviving a money bubble. They will play out the last few minutes of Level 15 before levels increase to 40 minutes until 27 players remain and they go up to 60 minutes.
