Two flights are in the books and it’s time to kick off the final opening day of Event 1. The tournament crossed over the $150,000 guaranteed prize pool midway through Flight B and they will continue to push it higher during the big Saturday afternoon in the poker room.

A combined 545 entries are in the game already and 64 advanced to Day 2 tomorrow. Svi Soudai holds a big lead at the top of the counts but there will be a lot of chips in play to build big bags.

Players will start out with 30,000 stacks and all opening flight levels will last 40 minutes. Late registration and re-entries are available all day long and will close at the start of Day 2. There is a dinner break at 5:30pm and they will play 15 full levels or stop when only 12% of the field remains.

It will be a busy day in the poker room and we’ll track them all along the way.

When they return on Sunday for Day 2, the blind level will reset to the beginning of Level 14 where Flight B ended last evening. They will play Levels 14 and 15 at 40 minutes a pop and switch to 90-minute levels after that.
