Action folded around to Habib Jahangard in the small blind and he completed. Jeff Kessler checked his option in the big, the flop came and Jahangard checked. Kessler bet 1,300,000 and Jahangard check-raised two barrels of 100K chips.
Thinking Jahangard was all-in, Kessler called and was about to table his hand. The dealer stopped him from exposing his cards and Kessler paid off the 4,200,000 bet. Jahangard had 325,000 behind and tossed them in after the turn to get a quick call.
It looked like a chopped pot with both holding kings and fours but the spiked the river to give Kessler bigger kings up.
Jeff Kessler – 15,600,000 (62 bb)
Habib Jahangard – Eliminated in 9th Place ($20,706)
