2006 NBA Champion Earl Barron heads to the cage after his pocket 4s don’t hold against the AK of Daniel Bozza (Margate, FL).

“I used two of my lives yesterday,” says Barron, who returned for Day 2 12th in chips after a late flurry in his flight.  “I used two or three today, but it finally ran out,” he says of his nine lives.

Barron finishes in 48th place for $2,664 after Bozza flops a King and rivers trips to take his stack to 2.1 million.

Barron won his title with the Miami Heat and continues working out as an NBA free agent.  The NBA 7-footer squeezes in poker when he can and that we can expect to see him back at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in the near future.
