There were quite a few short stacks at the start of play and a good number of them took an early shot to double. Not many have been successful and they made an undramatic exit.

Jeff Brown was in a great position to knock two out on Table 14 when he was involved in a three-way all-in holding . Dan Saffer and Frederico Dabus needed a lot of help to avoid the door.

Brown had them both covered but dropped behind immediately on the flop. Saffer’s lead in the hand only lasted until the dealer dropped the turn card.

Dabus survived the river to triple up his tiny 6,000 starting stack with Saffer taking the bigger side pot. The hit knocked Brown near the felt and he was gone soon after.
