Event 10 was the big deal everyone thought it would be. Players turned up to get a piece of the $1,000,000 and nearly added another $500,000 on top. The tournament drew 2,928 entrants to push the money up to $1,464,000 and paying out 250 players.
Roger Stewart leads the way with 358,000 but Viktor Lavi isn’t far behind with his 348,000. Chris Boegler, Giorgio Medici, Carlos Cruz, and David Somers round out the list of players returning with better than 300,000 stacks.
Other notables returning include Matt Stout, Jason Young, Darryll Fish, Mukul Pahuja, Ryan Van Sanford, Richard Seymour, Zo Karim, and Jessica Dawley.
The average returning stack is 106,000 (35 big blinds) with the levels moving up to 40 minutes long. We expect to hit the money before the second break when 250 players will earn a piece of the $1,464,000 prize pool.
