Toast to the Ladies Event
The players at the final table of the Ladies Event toast each other between hands. From left to right: Sahar Khajavi, Ritika Goyal, Delia the dealer (seated), Brittani Nguyen, Vanessa Kade, Rinat Haviv, Mica Lamar, Alejandra Reidel, and Ana Huete.

With the blinds still at 2,000-4,000, Vanessa Kade raised from middle position to 10,000, Bridgette Adkins called from middle position, and Alejandra Reidel moved all in from the button for 41,000. Kade folded, and Adkins thought for a while before she called with KcJc.

Reidel turned over 8s8d, and needed her hand to hold to stay alive.

The board came 10c8c5h2d10d, and Reidel flopped a set of eights and rivered a full house to win the pot and double up in chips.

Alejandra Reidel  –  102,000  (26 bb)
Bridgette Adkins  –  135,000  (34 bb)

Two levels later, after the blinds increased to 3,000-6,000, Brittani Nguyen moved all in from UTG+1 for 34,000, and Mica Lamar called from the hijack with AcJh.

Nguyen turned over 2s2c, and needed her hand to hold to stay alive.

The board came KsJs8h6sAs — Lamar paired her jack on the flop to take the lead, and caught an ace on the river for two pair, but Nguyen rivered a spade flush to win the pot and double up in chips.

Brittani Nguyen  –  83,000  (14 bb)
Mica Lamar  –  115,000  (19 bb)

About five minutes later, Ritika Goyal got it all in from the button for 51,000 with As2h, but she needed to improve to stay alive against the KxKx of Bridgette Adkins, who was under the gun.

The board came QhQd9cQcAd, and Goyal spiked an ace on the river to win the pot with a higher full house, queens full of aces, and double up in chips.

Rikita Goyal  –  116,000  (19 bb)
Bridgette Adkins  –  175,000  (29 bb)

The next hand, Vanessa Kade raised from the small blind to 20,000, and Bridgette Adkins called from the big blind.

The flop came Kh5s2d, Kade bet 15,000, and Adkins called. The turn card was the Ad, Kade bet 20,000, Adkins moved all in for 116,000, and Kade called with Ac5h for two pair, aces and fives. But Adkins turned over 4s3h for a five-high straight, and she needed it to hold to stay alive.

The river card was the 7c, and Adkins won the pot with her straight to double up in chips.

Bridgette Adkins  –  308,000  (51 bb)
Vanessa Kade  –  175,000  (29 bb)
