After Steve Novak went out in 15th and Eddylee Harris fell in 14th, there was a lull in the action and then a hurricane blew right through the Senior event.

Nancy Thomas moved all-in for 37,500, John Cernuto then moved his 70,000 chip stack in the middle and Luis Santoni then went over the top adding another 131,500 to the pot.  The cards were then turned up for a wild showdown.

The flop was innocent enough coming out but then the board ran out giving Thomas the straight and taking the main pot. Santoni’s queens were good for the side pot eliminating Cernuto.

At the same time on the other table, Ed Niemann was knocked out in 12th and then two hands later Albert Eskenazi went out in 11th. So just like that the tournament went from 13 players to our final table as we close out a wild evening of play.
