Event 14, the $2,200 Eight Game Mix, drew a field of 33 players. Almost immediately, Cory Zeidman jump started his stack in the early levels, eventually finishing Day 1 as the chip leader with 12 playing remaining. He never looked back on Day 2, continuing to add to his lead until the very end when the bubble bursted. An ICM deal with a few modifications was reached among the four players who reached the money, ensuring a victory for the chip leading Zeidman.
Getting second place was Robert Campbell, marking his third final table of the Series thus far after his win in Event 6 (Omaha H/L) and his fourth-place result in Event 5 ($150 NLH). With this runner-up result in Event 14, Campbell takes the pole position on the tournament leaderboard entering the Championship Event.
