Earlier to either kill some time or for personal amusement, Matt Waxman made a vow at his table that Brian Hastings would “have his soul crushed” by him.  It’s been a lot of fun at the table but it actually became all business soon after between the two.

On a board of , Hastings checked and Waxman fired out 9,500 putting Hastings in the tank.  Waxman, who has been very vocal all night, went into lockdown not moving a muscle or saying a word.

Hastings finally relented and folded the hand giving Waxman the pot.  Despite the hand win, Waxman still cannot eliminate Hastings as Waxman finished the hand around 43,000 and Hastings still held 50,000 chips.

Expect a lot more confrontations from top players as the night goes on.  26 players remain as we’re about two-thirds of the way through Level 9.
