While Event 1 Flight C continues to build in the main section of the ballroom, Event 2 has quietly built itself into a big non-Hold’em event in the back corner.

Last year’s Limit Omaha/8 tournament drew 76 players and this version hit 80 entrants with more than two hours remaining for late registration or re-entry. It’s going to have a nice, big number by the time the close the books and they are scheduled to finish sometime this evening.

Michael Moed is one of those recent entries and he’s looking to add to his already impressive résumé in this game. He has nine tournament wins in his career with seven of them coming in Omaha/8 events, including this event a few months ago during the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown.
