Not long ago, Phillip Hui got lucky to double through Allen Kessler Ax2x to Ax10x. Now, Hui has finished off his opponent.

It happened when Hui moved all in for around 175,000 from the hijack and Kessler, who barely had less than that, opted to call off from the button.

“You can have the rest of my chips,” Kessler said as the blinds both folded.

Kessler: AdKh
Hui: QcJd

“It’s not looking good, Allen,” someone at the table said when it was revealed Hui was drawing to two live cards.

“I’ve never beat this guy in my lifetime,” Kessler deadpanned.

The 8h3s9c flop kept Kessler in the lead, but it didn’t change his mood.

“Ten,” he said, pointing out Hui would make a straight with that card. Sure enough, the dealer burned and turned the 10c. The 2d was run out on the river and a frustrated Kessler took his leave from the tournament in 23rd place.

Phillip Hui – 390,000
