Aristoteles Neto leads the return

Event 3 of the May Deep Stack Poker Series is the lead up to the $1,700 Deepest Stack this coming weekend and the $600 buy-in tournament drew 491 entries over the two starting flights. The $150,000 guarantee was turned into a prize pool well over $250,000 and we’ll add to it this morning with late registration open until noon.

Once cards go in the air for Day 2, we will have our final entry count and know exactly how much money is up for grabs.

Aristoteles Neto bagged the chip lead in Flight A, the same as he did for Event 1, and returns with the biggest stack in the room. But he has a lot of talented players among the 103 others trying to chase him down.

We get back underway at noon and will have all the action throughout the long day.
