With 1,081 total entries, Event 4 ($560 No Limit Hold’em) of the $1M Escalator Series shattered its $400,000 guarantee before the prize pool topped out at an impressive $540,500. Following six starting flights and three days of play, the field is down to the final 210 and it’s on to Day 2. It’s just after 2 p.m. local time and cards are freshly in the air for the restart here in the poker room at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hollywood.

David Bradshaw, Jr. of Decatur, Ga. leads the way having transformed his 20,000-chip starting stack into nearly 300,000. Bradshaw claims 297,500 and holds a slight edge over Igor Terpenev’s 285,500. Other notable stacks among the field include Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year points leader Timothy “T.K.” Miles (157,000) and SHRP team members Mukul Pahuja (141,000), Stewart Newman (120,500) and Sheddy Siddiqui (89,500).

Only the top 100 players finish in the money. In addition to $118,906 in prizes, the tournament’s champion — as well as the runner-up — earns a $3,500 seat in the $2,000,000 guaranteed SHRP Showdown Championship added courtesy of the Seminole Hard Rock.
