From 1,081 starting to just 100 remaining, Event 4 of the $1M Escalator series is in the money. The bubble burst just moments ago early in Level 19 following about four hours of Day 2 play. The fateful hand, which came during the fourth round of hand-for-hand, saw Nissim Gozlan’s 7x7x outdraw the KxKx of an unknown player. It went limp, raise, call preflop. Gozlan spiked a seven on the flop and eventually got the unknown player to risk all their chips. The board ran out no help and, with that, the bubble burst.

All remaining players have locked up $1,081 with the tournament’s champion earning $118,906 and a $3,500 seat in the $2,000,000 guaranteed Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship.

One other notable hand that took place during hand-for-hand saw Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year points leader Timothy Miles call off his stack with the best of it. He lead the flop out of position and then check-called the turn. The board was Kd9c7c8h8c and Miles checked again. His opponent moved all in and Miles went into the tank before calling off. Miles tabled AxKx and had his opponent’s KxQx outkicked. Miles now claims one of the largest stacks in the room.
