Defending Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown $1,100 Six-Max winner and Seminole Hard Rock Poker team member Mike Laake is in search of another title. His defense got an early start as he was one of the first entries into this year’s event with a field of 35 and growing.

Last year, the tournament drew 122 entries and Laake topped them all earning $23,660. The Florida pro’s tournament results have been a little light since and he’s hopeful for another solid performance and deep run.

Joining him on the $1,100 Six-Max felt is Mike Graffeo. Graffeo, a recent Florida transplant, bested 1,509 entries in January’s $1,100 WPTDeepStacks-Hollywood Main Event earning more than $260,000 in the process.
