Now that Event 1 has come to a conclusion (via a six-way ICM deal), we can turn our focus to the final table of Event 9.

Myles Holton was the first final tablist to bust, finishing in ninth place.

Myles Holton  –  Eliminated in 9th Place  ($4,665)

A short while later, Manuel Amaro Alvarez raised from the button to 20,000, and Adam Zeltser moved all in from the small blind for 110,000. Alvarez called with AxAx, and Zeltser was in trouble with Qx10x.

But the board came 10x3x5xQx6x, and Zeltser paired his ten on the flop and his queen on the turn to win the pot with two pair and double up in chips.

Adam Zeltser  –  244,000  (20 bb)

Alvarez was eliminated a short while later.

Manuel Amaro Alvarez  –  Eliminated in 8th Place  ($5,440)

More recently, chipleader Jesse Lott raised under the gun to 25,000, Adam Zeltser moved all in from the button for 212,000, and Lott thought for a while before he called with Js10c.

Zeltser turned over QsQd, and needed it to hold to stay alive.

The board came 6d5d3c3s6h, and the pocket queens held up for Zeltser to win the pot and double up in chips.

Adam Zeltser  –  454,000  (38 bb)
Jesse Lott  –  1,325,000  (110 bb)

With seven players remaining, the average chip stack is about 540,000 (45 big blinds), and the next player to be eliminated will receive $6,235 for seventh place.
