Day 1A of the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open saw 508 entries, and there is still an entire second starting flight to go (with only 111 more entries needed to meet the guaranteed prize pool). There were 152* players who survived, securing seats for Day 2 on Sunday at Noon.

Ignacio Moron (pictured) leads the way after Day 1A, bagging an impressive stack of 514,500 thanks to a double up on the final hand of play. Other top stacks were bagged by Joe McKeehen (395,500), Matt Affleck (390,000), Alex Foxen (320,000), and Jonathan Jaffe (315,500).

Full chip counts from Day 1A will be posted here later tonight. Day 1B begins on Saturday at 11 am, and registration will remain open until the start of Level 9 at 9:15 pm.

*This was updated to reflect that one player who bagged decided to forfeit his stack.
