Event 25 of the 2021 Lucky Hearts Poker Open was a $5,000 No Limit Hold’em event, and the field of 134 entries created a prizepool of $636,500 — more than six times the $100,000 guarantee.

The one-day event ended with Jim Collopy and Byron Kaverman heads-up, and after battling for a while, they agreed to a deal to split the rest of the prizepool. These were their final chip counts:

Byron Kaverman  –  1,010,000  (34 bb)

As the chipleader, Collopy was also awarded the title and the trophy, though it’s worth noting that both of the players earned more than $100,000 — the size of the guarantee.
