Moises Jattin
Moises Jattin

Chipleader Moises Jattin filled us in with the details for the hand where he won most of his chips last level

With the blinds at 5,000-10,000 with a 10,000 ante, Jattin raised from the hijack to 22,000, the player in the cutoff called, the button called, and the big blind called.

Four players to a flop of Js6c4c, and it checked to the cutoff, who bet 45,000. The button called, the big blind folded, and Jattin check-raised all in for about 425,000.

The player in the cutoff called all in for about 275,000, and the button tanked for a while before he also called all in for about 375,000.

Moises Jattin:  7c5c  (open-ended straight-flush draw)
Button:  4x4x  (set of fours)
Cutoff:  Qc9c  (queen-high flush draw)

Jattin was drawing slim, needing the straight-flush to hit, and the turn card was — the 3c!

Jattin clinched the pot on the turn with a seven-high straight flush, and both of his opponents were drawing dead as they were eliminated from the tournament.

That pot took Jattin up to about 1.16 million (116 big blinds at the time), and he continued to climb the rest of the level until he went on break with 1.42 million — and the chip lead.

Moises Jattin  –  1,420,000  (95 bb)

With about 180 players remaining from a field of 3,989, the average chip stack is around 445,000 (30 big blinds). The remaining players are guaranteed at least $1,445 each.
