Event 1: Abil Khan Up Big After Michael Newman Eliminated

$400 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
$100,000 Guaranteed | Structure | Payouts
Level 22: 10,000/20,000 with a 20,000 ante
Players Remaining:  31 of 1,083

Adil Khan

Abil Khan is back with a big stack and a lot of that came when he eliminated Michael Newman. As told by the table, Newman flopped the nut six-high straight, the board paired a four on the turn, and the chips went in. Khan had pocket kings for two pair and the river four gave him a boat to send Newman out.

That hand propelled Khan well over two million and back among the leaders.

Abil Khan – 2,450,000 (123 bb)

Diaz: JhJd

$100,000 Guaranteed | Structure | Payouts
Level 20: 5,000/15,000 with a 15,000 ante

Luis Dominguez

There was a ruckus shortly before tournament staff sent players on their 40-minute dinner break. After a series of raises, Luis Dominguez put his 400K stack in the middle and Steven Harmell called with a bit more to put him at risk.

Dominguez: JdJs
Harmell: AsQs

It was a race and Harmell took the lead on the AcTd5c flop. The 9h turn made little difference but the shouting began when Dominguez spiked the two-out Jh on the river to double up.

Luis Dominguez – 830,000 (55 bb)

Event 1: Courtland Twyman Eliminated by Ryan Hogan

$400 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
$100,000 Guaranteed | Structure | Payouts
Level 20: 5,000/15,000 with a 15,000 ante
Players Remaining:  50 of 1,083

Ryan Hogan

Ryan Hogan was down to 630,000 from his previous chip leading stack and put them in the middle against Courtland Twyman with the board reading Td7c5h4c.

Twyman: 9c8c
Hogan: AsAc

Hogan was ahead with the aces but had 14 outs to dodge on the river with Twyman looking for any club, six or jack. Hogan could barely look but his hand held after the Kd river. They counted down the stack and Twyman was just under 600,000 to exit the tournament.
