With such a large field for the first break, the tournament staff is once again staggering the break so only half of the field takes its break at a time.

The first half of the field is now on their 15-minute break and will return at 8:00 pm to finish Level 4. That’s when the second half of the field will take their 15-minute break. Everyone will begin Level 5 at the same time.

Flight D is up to 506 entries (2,325 overall), and the prizepool is already worth more than $1.22 million, easily surpassing the $1 million guarantee.

Registration remains open with unlimited re-entries until 10:30 pm. There will be two more starting flights tomorrow (10:00 am and 6:00 pm), and Day 2 begins on Sunday at 1:00 pm.

In the first hand of hand-for-hand play on the Money Bubble, there were three all-in-and-call situations.

The first one was a double-up. (Sorry, no details.)

In the second one, Richard Smith raised under the gun, the player on the button moved all in for 45,000, and Smith called with . His opponent turned over , and needed his hand to hold to stay alive.

The flop came , giving Smith a huge lead with trip threes. The short stack failed to catch up on the turn and river, and was eliminated from Flight C.

Flight D of Event 15 gets underway at the top of the hour and they’ll hit a milestone when cards go in the air. The three previous flights combined to put 1,819 entries in the field to leave it only 86 new one from topping the $1,000,000 guarantee.

From that point forward the prize pool will continue to climb until registration closes tomorrow evening.

Players start with 20,000 deep stacks and have 30-minute levels on Day 1 going up to 40 minutes on Day 2. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 10:30 pm. Flight D will come to an end when 12.5% of the field remains and they will bag up their chips for a Day 2 return on Sunday at 1 pm in the money.
