Chad J. Brown recently lost a big pot and about half his stack to Seth Davies, and Harrison Gimbel has just delivered another blow.

This pot began with Gimbel opening to 25,000 under the gun, and Brown defended his big blind. The flop was AsJc2h. Brown checked, Gimbel continued for 20,000, and Brown called. The turn was the Kd, and both players checked. The river was the Kh, and Brown led for 25,000. Gimbel raised to 75,000, and Brown called.

Gimbel showed KsQs, winning the pot with trip kings.

The Heads-Up event is moving right along and we’ve had several players advance while a couple matches are still tied 0-0 on their first game.

It wasn’t a good first round for Team SHRP with both Sheddy Siddiqui and Michael Laake dropping out early. Ari Engel, Sam Panzica, Jonathan Little, and WSOP Main Event champ Joe McKeehen are among those who booked their Round 2 seats.

The runner-up will take home $19,200 with the winner grabbing $38,400 and the SHRPO trophy.
