Championship: Day 2 in the Rearview

$5,300 Championship NLH $10 Million Guaranteed (Re-Entry)

End of Level 23: Blinds 8k/16k/2k ante

Day 2 saw the return of 478 players, all hoping to earn a piece of the $10 Million prize pool.  Only 300 of the would and they reached the magic number about three hours into the day when Joe Weissman got his Queens cracked by a flush.  Weissman became the bubble-boy and it was time to get paid.

Among those cashing out early were Stuart Paterson, Paul Volpe, and Amanda Musumeci.  Later in the day we saw the departure of Seminole Hard Rock Poker POY leader Angel Vu in 133rd place.  The points she earned should keep her on top of the leaderboard for now.

When the player count dropped down to double digits, we saw the exits of some more big names.  Matt Salsberg, Marvin Rettenmaier, Brian Hastings, and Vinny Pahuja all reported to the rail before the end of the night.
