$250 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 15: 1,500/3,000/400 Ante
After six starting flights, just 142 players return with a chance at the Event 1 title. The tournament drew 1,210 entrants over the past two days and action was fast throughout.
Several players took a turn at the top of the chip counts but the Day 2 returning leader came from the final flight. Dimitry Agrachov finished Flight 1F with 288,000 which is good enough to lead at the restart with Rafiki Brown and James Salmon lurking just behind.
Those entrants combined to create a $254,100 prize pool to more than double up the $100,000 guarantee. Of the 142 coming back, only 72 will make the money to guarantee themselves at least a $737 prize pool but all will be aiming for the $64,179 top prize for the win.
A fine return on the $250 investment.
Other notables returning today include Mohammad “Sheddy” Siddiqui, Ari Engel, Steve Karp, Daren Stabinkski, Anthony Ocampo, Scott Zakheim, and Brett Bader.
Players are unbagging their chips and cards will be in the air at the top of the hour.
