In the rare No Limit Hold’em hand that saw an all-in pot in this event it was Robert Campbell who had his tournament life on the line with KhQh for 14,100. Kevin Ho had him covered with 6h6c in the hole and the final board was dealt 10h9h4d8h7s.  Campbell doubled up to survive with over 30,000 thanks to a flush.

Another bustout in another PLO pot. This time it was Joe Mobley (pictured above) who moved all in on a board reading 10c10s8d4h. His all-in shove was worth 26,200 on the big blind and Brad Young called hijack. The two players then opened up their hands.

Mobley was eliminated in seventh place, good for $1,080, and Young increased his chip stack to 170,000.

Event 5E: Ladies Making Their Mark

Angel Vu has been the one to watch since this series began, since she is the current points leader on the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year leaderboard.   She started the series with 1120 points and through the first four events has picked up 310 more, for a total of 1430.

WSOP bracelet winner Marsha Wolak is hot on her heels, currently occupying 3rd place on the POY leaderboard.

Not to be overlooked is Nancy Birnbaum, one of the most decorated women on the WSOP Circuit with 3 gold rings.

All three of these ladies are plying their trade on the felt in Flight E tonight.

Another PLO hand has produced a bustout in Event 6. This time the short-stacked Tuan Pham (pictured above) was all in with QhJs9s9h against the AdJc6h10d of Gregg Fund on a final board reading Jh7d4c5d7s. Pham was eliminated in eighth place, good for $864, and Fund grew his chip stack to 150,000 after the hand.

Registration closed for Flight E at the end of level 9.  There were unofficially 439 entries in this flight, surpassing all previous flights and bringing the event total to 1,665.
