Albert Destrade, who appeared on the reality television show Survivor season that took place in the South Pacific was spotted playing on Day 1A of Event 1 here at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open. Time will tell if he survives to Day 2, which will take place on Sunday, August 11. Unlike Survivor he does have the option of re-entering if he doesn’t survive Day 1A by playing in any of the four other starting flights in this $500,000 guaranteed event.

Dan Buzgon, Darryll Fish, and Corey Burbick are among those who have recently been eliminated. Roughly 400 players remain in today’s flight.

With the start of Level 5, registration for Day 1A has closed. There was a total of 631 entries.
