Event 1: Three Double Ups

$100 + $25 No Limit Hold’Em Deep Stack

Blinds 60K/120K Ante 20K

We’ve had three double ups in the last ten minutes. First, it was a short stacked Willie Wiggins moving all in from late position for about four big blinds and getting called by Jeff Doan out of the big blind. Wiggins had QH7H and was up against Doan’s 6S2D. The board ran out KSTH9SKHQD to give Wiggins the double to about 900K in chips.

A few minutes later, Lou White limped in from the button and Doan moved all in from the small blind. Brett Bader folded from the big blind and Lou quickly called turning over KDKS which crushed Doan’s JC7C. The board ran out 8D7D4C4H5D and Doan shipped 1.675 million over to White.

Doan wasn’t done doubling people up. Several hands later, Wiggins moved all in from early position. This time his stack was a little more formidable but Doan made the call with AH9D and would need to catch an ace or some miracle to best Wiggins and his pocket tens. The board ran out in Wiggins favor and Doan sent another 850K over to Wiggins.
