New arrivals during Level 3 at the World Poker Tour Alpha8 super high roller event at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open include Dan Shak and Bill Perkins. Shak is over at table between Isaac Haxton and Daniel Alaei, while Perkins has taken residence at Table 90 between Daniel Perper and Jeff Gross.
Jason Mercier is still near the top of the chip standings with 160,000 but Steven Silverman has charged into the lead with 180,000. He doubled up through Daniel Alaei early in the level and that hand left Alaei crippled with just 5,000 in chips. He has managed to double up and survive himself, but he is still in danger of becoming the first elimination of the tournament.
