Event 2: Pot Limit Omaha Underway

$300 Big Stack Pot Limit Omaha (Re-Entry)

Level 1:  Blinds 25/50

The second trophy event of this series is underway in the back of the Seminole Hard Rock Ballroom.  For those who like to play with four cards instead of two, this game is for you!

Pot Limit Omaha players began with 15,000 chips and all levels are 30 minutes long.

Late registration and re-entry are available until the start of level 9 (about 4:30pm).

This is a one-day event, so they’ll play until a winner is determined.  The eventual winner will receive a Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ’N’ Roll” Poker Open trophy and a custom framed professional photograph provided by IMPDI.

Angel Vu is the 2014 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year, a title she fought hard for all year, earning the most points in the qualifying events.  She’s back today continuing her pursuit of the 2015 title.

The 2015 season began in September at the CocoOpen, and continues with this series.  Later events also included in this season are the Lucky Hearts Poker Open in January and the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown in April.  The 2015 season concludes with the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open in August.

Event 1: Flight A Kicks off the Rock ’N’ Roll Poker Open!

$350 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)

Level 1:  Blinds 25/50

Cards are in the air for the opening event of the 2014 Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ’N’ Roll” Poker Open!

Players began with 20,000 chips and all Day 1 levels are 30 minutes long.  They’ll play 14 levels today, or until they reach 12% of the starting field.

This is the first of six starting flights over the next three days.  Here’s the full schedule:

Flight 1A: underway
Flight 1B: 6pm today
Flight 1C: 11am Friday
Flight 1D:  6pm Friday
Flight 1E: 11am Saturday
Flight 1F: 6pm Saturday

Day 2 begins at 1pm Sunday when the survivors of all six starting flights come together for the finale.
