Perez: AcAs
Morales: AhKc

Morales needed a lot of help if he was going to send Perez out but the board ran clean Js5c5d4s8h for Perez. He doubled, Morales lost his new found chips, and he was gone three hands later.

Daniel Perez – 1,160,000 (46 bb)
Renny Morales – Eliminated in 10th Place ($929)

Renny Morales

Action folded to Renny Morales on the button and he shoved for 320,000. Sean Shah called in the small blind to put him at risk.

Morales: AhAd
Shah: KhTh

Morales found a monster with his short stack but Shah caught a bit of the Td9d7h flop. Shah took the lead with kings up on the Kd turn to leave Morales looking for an ace or a diamond. It was the Ac on the river that kept him the game with a double.

Cherie Thoman

It took less than one level after the break for Event 24 to lose another table of players to get the field down to 27 players. Perhaps the most brutal of those bust outs was Cherie Thoman when she got her pocket kings all in on an eight-high board against Sebastian Gallego’s pocket nines.
