Main Event Final Table: 9th Place, Javier Prado $14,532

$1,500 + $150 Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘n’ Poker Open” Main Event

Blinds: 15k/30k/5k ante

Javier Prado came back from break to pick up an immediate double and was in good shape to do it again. Yuan Yangshen opened to 60k before Prado moved all-in one more time and Yangshen quickly called.

Prado was dominating with QsQd against AcQc but was soon in the hole when Yangshen hit his Ace on the AhKh4h flop. The Td gave Prado four chop outs but it was over with the Ts to send him out first at the final table in 9th place for $14,532.

Main Event Final Table: Prado and Spires Double

$1,500 + $150 Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘n’ Poker Open” Main Event

Blinds: 15k/30k/5k ante

Javier Prado was sporting the smallest stack at the table after the break and put them in with a three-bet shove after Matt Waxman opened for a min-raise. Waxman called with JhTh against Ah4h. No danger on the 8h3s3c flop, Ks turn, or 8d river to give Prado some much needed breathing room.

The second hand after the break saw Kevin Spires take his shot with the short stack. He moved all-in for 170k and Tyler Stafman called from the big blind. Spires was ahead with AdQc versus Qd7d and improved on the As5h3d flop for his double.

Main Event Final Table: Pizano Doubles

$1,500 + $150 Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘n’ Poker Open” Main Event

Blinds: 12k/24k/4k ante

John Pizano lost more than his starting day chipstack and open-shoved for his final 531k. There were no takers until Javier Prado called on the button with AdKc and flipping up against Prado’s ThTs.

Pizano avoided the two overs on the 6s5h3c flop, the Jd turn, and Jh river to double up while Prado was left with just over 150k.

Those chips went in the middle two hands later and Prado was called by Darryll Fish and Tyler Stafman in the blinds. Fish and Stafman checked down the dry sidepot as the board ran out 8c8s3dAd2s. Prado’s AhTd was better than Stafman’s Ac9d for more than a triple-up.

Main Event Final: 10th Place, Michael Mizrachi $10,628

$1,500 + $150 Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘n’ Poker Open” Main Event

Blinds: 12k/24k/4k ante

Michael Mizrachi began the day second in chips behind Matt Waxman but nothing went well from the beginning. He doubled Yuan Yangshen early and lost a series of pots to get under 500k.

Yangshen opened to 50k and was called by Javier Prado then Darryll Fish and Michael Mizrachi in the blinds. All four players checked the KhJh6s flop and Fish led out for 125k after the Ah turn. Mizrachi moved all-in behind to get folds from Yangshen and Prado.

Fish called with 7h3h and his flush was ahead of The Grinder’s AdJd two pair. Mizrachi was looking for a miracle boat but didn’t find it with the 2d river and he was the final table bubble boy in 10th for $10,628.

Main Event Final: Prado Doubles Through Waxman

$1,500 + $150 Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘n’ Poker Open” Main Event

Blinds: 10k/20k/3k ante

It took only 30 minutes to knock out four players on the final day but it was another hour before another all-in and call.

Matt Waxman opened for a min-raise from middle position and Javier Prado came along from the button to the 8d3h2h flop. Waxman bet 60k and Prado called once again to see 6s on the turn. It was another check-call of 100k by Prado heading to the Tc river and Waxman responded by putting Prado all-in for his last 317k.

After taking 30 seconds to consider, Prado called with JhTh for top pair. Good enough to beat Waxman’s 5c5d and double up to 1,050,000 while Waxman dropped to 1,800,000.
