It didn’t long for action to roll at the final table. Shortly after the redraw, Ali Purdy and Saum Sharifi mixed it up and it was a three-bet pot to the Qd3h2h flop.

Purdy led out for 45,000 and Sharifi announced all-in to get a quick call from Purdy with top pair/nut flush draw AhQh against TsTc. Sharifi could only catch the Td but he picked up an out on the 3s turn.

He couldn’t boat up on the 9s river and was gone in 10th place for $760.

Black chip poker room

While Event 1 was playing down into the money and beyond, the Black Chip Bounty tournament was moving right along and drew 190 entrants to the field.

That nearly doubled up the $30,000 guarantee and they were grinding away in the The Poker Room in Seminole Paradise. That ends after the current dinner break.

Tournament staff had players bag up their chips for a move back to the ballroom. The 46 remaining players will enjoy their 60-minute timeout and come back to the big room.

Event 4: Black Chip Bounties

$350 Black Chip Bounty No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 1: 25/50

It’s time for the next new tournament on the Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘n’ Roll Poker Open” as the $350 Black Chip Bounty event is about to get underway.

The tournament features a $30,000 guaranteed prize pool to offer up a nice tournament on a Sunday afternoon surrounded by TVs playing NFL games. Due to the huge returning field for Day 2 of Event 1, this tournament is being played upstairs in The Poker Room at Seminole Paradise.

Players start with 15,000 in their stack and 30-minute levels until we have a new champion. Late registration and re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 around 4:30pm with a dinner break at 6:30. From each buy-in, $200 will go into the regular prize pool and $100 towards a bounty on each player’s head. Knock someone out, get a black casino chip worth $100.

Updates will be sporadic throughout the day with action taking place in the poker room, but we will keep one eye on the progress so we can pick up the action as they get close to the final table.
