Event 25: Peter Chin – 6th Place ($3,353)

$150 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 28: 30,000/60,000/10,000 Ante

The parade continued.

One hand later and Peter Chin moved all-in for 390,000 and Joe Pozos called in the small blind. Marshall White responded by moving all-in from the big blind to get a fold from Pozos.

Chin: Qh9h
White: AsKs

“I have live cards,” Chin laughed.

His cards were no longer live after the Ah8c3c flop. Chin needed running cards to stay alive but was drawing dead on the 4s turn to go out in 6th place for $3,353.

$150 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 28: 30,000/60,000/10,000 Ante

The quick post-break action continued when Marc Levy had his entire stack in the middle on the next hand after Pat Tiller’s elimination.

Ariel Rosello had him at risk with AsKc against JsTc but Levy added an open-ended straight draw to his live cards on the Qc9c4d flop. He couldn’t catch though, as the turn and river came 7h and Ah to send him out in 7th place for $2,567.

White: 6s6c

About the best Tiller could hope for, flipping to stay alive. But he never had a sweat as the board ran 9c4d2sQcJs to sent Tiller out in 8th place for $1,822.

Robert Chusid four-bet shoved for 950,000 with Queens, Rosello let his hand go but Fequiere called with Kings.

The flop brought no saving love for Chusid and he was gone in 9th place for $1,325.

Event 25: David Shmuel – 10th Place ($994)

$150 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 27: 25,000/50,000/5,000 Ante

The fast pace slowed down once they reached the final table and went an entire level without a big hand. The first knockout came in a weird situation.

Robert Chusid accidentally exposed one of this cards (the Ks) and was forced to play with one up and one down in the small blind. Action folded to him and he moved all-in.

Strong move but David Shmuel quickly called with AcQd and Chusid turned over his other card to find 5d. Chusid flopped a flush draw on the As7s6s board and turned a gutshot draw on the 3d turn.

Chusid jumped out of his seat and Shmuel shook his head when the 4h dropped on the river to complete the straight. It was a tough exit but Shmuel was gone in 10th place for $994.
