$25,500 High Roller No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 23: 30,000/60,000 with a 10,000 ante
Players Remaining: 6 of 105

Ray Qartomy opened to 120,000 under the gun, and Nick Petrangelo three-bet shoved for 870,000 on the button. Qartomy asked for the count, pondered for a minute or two, then called to put Petrangelo at risk.

Qartomy: 9cTc
Petrangelo: 9h9d

“You’re a sick man,” Dan Colman said to Qartomy after the showdown.

The board ran out 9s7c5d5h2s, and Petrangelo doubled up with nines full. Qartomy is still the chipleader, but that loss took a significant bite out of his stack.

Nick Petrangelo – 1,890,000 (32 bb)
Ray Qartomy – 4,295,000 (72 bb)

High Roller: Barry Hutter Doubles Thru Dan Colman

$25,500 High Roller No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 23: 30,000/60,000 with a 10,000 ante
Players Remaining: 6 of 105

Barry Hutter was under 750,000 and moved all-in from the small blind after Dan Colman opened to 120,000 from the button.

Colman casually called with KhQc and Hutter was ahead with 6s6d. Colman added a gutshot draw on the Jh9h5s flop but Hutter dodged the 8d turn and 7s river to double up.

Barry Hutter – 1,500,000 (25 bb)
Dan Colman – 910,000 (15 bb)

High Roller: Marvin Rettenmaier Flips With Daniel Strelitz

$25,500 High Roller No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 23: 30,000/60,000 with a 10,000 ante
Players Remaining: 6 of 105

Dan Colman limped in for 60,000 in middle position, and action folded around to Marvin Rettenmaier in the small blind. Rettenmaier moved all in for just less than 1,400,000 total. Daniel Strelitz was the big blind, and he called all in for about 1,250,000, putting himself at risk. Colman folded out of the way, leaving Strelitz heads-up for his tournament life. It was a flip.

Rettenmaier: AsKd
Strelitz: 9h9d

The 6c4c3c flop was a miss for Rettenmaier, but the Ac on the turn gave him the lead with a pair of aces. Strelitz was looking for a club to chop or the other black nine for a clean win. The river was the 8c, putting a flush on board, and the two men chop up Colman’s chips plus the antes.

Marvin Rettenmaier – 1,440,000 (24 bb)
Daniel Strelitz – 1,320,000 (22 bb)

High Roller: Marvin Rettenmaier Doubles Thru Nick Petrangelo

$25,500 High Roller No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 23: 30,000/60,000 with a 10,000 ante
Players Remaining: 6 of 105

Nick Petrangelo opened to 120,000 and Marvin Rettenmaier moved all in next to act for 610,000. The rest of the table released and Petrangelo called.

Rettenmaier: TcTs
Petrangelo: KhQh

It was a race for Rettemaier to stay in the game and the board ran As9h8s5d6c to give him the double.

Marvin Rettenmaier – 1,350,000 (23 bb)
Nick Petrangelo – 1,200,000 (20 bb)

High Roller: Rainer Kempe Eliminated in 7th Place ($102,375)

$25,500 High Roller No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 23: 30,000/60,000 with a 10,000 ante
Players Remaining: 7 of 105

Rainer Kempe
Rainer Kempe

Rainer Kempe moved all in for about 375,000 in the cutoff, and Nick Petrangelo re-shoved for more than 1,300,000 in the small blind. Marvin Rettenmaier surrendered his big blind, and Kempe was heads up for his tournament life.

Kempe: 8s9d
Petrangelo: QsQd

The As7s6h flop was a decent start for Kempe, giving him eight outs to a straight. The 9h turn added even more outs, giving him a pair of nines to go with that draw. The river was the blank 3s, though, and Kempe could not catch up.

Petrangelo’s queens held to earn him the knockout pot, eliminating Kempe in seventh place. For his work over the past two days, the German pro earns the first six-figure payout of this final table.

Nick Petrangelo – 1,760,000 (29 bb)
Rainer Kempe – Eliminated in 7th place ($104,375)

High Roller: Andjelko Andrejevic Eliminated in 8th Place ($89,250)

Andjelko Andrejevic
Andjelko Andrejevic

Andjelko Andrejevic was down to 45,000 and put them in the middle for less than the big blind, Ray Qartomy limped his small blind and Dan Colman checked his option. The two live players checked the AhKh4c and Qartomy bet 100,000 after the 4d turn.

Colman released and Andrejevic let out a small curse when he saw his AcJc was up against Qartomy’s trip fours Qc4h. The 5c river finished it off and Andrejevic laddered up his starting one big blind to 8th place.

Ray Qartomy – 3,200,000 (53 bb)
Andjelko Andrejevic – Eliminated in 8th place ($89,250)

High Roller: Francisco Picasso Eliminated in 9th Place ($78,750)

Picasso: Ac8c
Qartomy: QsQc

The board ran out Qd9d2d7h3c, and Qartomy won the pot with a set of queens. Picasso was eliminated as the first casualty of this final table, exiting in ninth place.
