Players Remaining: 17 of 1,509

Andre Crooks

Andre Crooks moved all-in for ~1.5 million and TK Miles looked him up to put him at risk.

Miles: 8d8s
Crooks: AhJs

Crooks, the 2015 WTP Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown final table member, needed to catch to add another big final table to his credit. The Kc7c2s flop was no help, he picked up a gutshot draw on the Th turn, but blanked the 7d river to exit in 18th place.

TK Miles – 3,700,000 (46 bb)
Andre Crooks – Eliminated in 18th place ($9,933)

Main Event: Gregory Burns – 20th Place ($7,888)

$1,100 WPTDeepStacks Main Event
Level 26: 30,000/60,000 with a 10,000 ante
Players Remaining: 20 of 1,509
Average Stack: 1,990,000 (33 bb)

Gregory Burns

Gregory Burns returned as one of the short stacks but laddered up a few spots before taking his shot to double up. He was all-in for 590,000 and Luis Torres called.

Torres: AcKc
Burns: AhQd

Another dominated hand but Burns picked up a flush draw on the KdJd2d flop. The 5s turn was a blank and he was eliminated after the Jc river.

Two hands later, former chip leader Todd Rebello was eliminated in 19th place to set up a two-table redraw.

Luis Torres – 3,200,000 (53 bb)
Gregory Burns – Eliminated in 20th place ($7,888)
Todd Rebellow – Eliminated in 19th place ($7,888)

Main Event: Jeremy Antonoff – 23rd Place ($6,281)

$1,100 WPTDeepStacks Main Event

Players Remaining: 20 of 1,509
Average Stack: 1,890,000 (31 bb)

Jeremy Antonoff

Andre Crooks moved all-in from under the gun and the move made it around to Jeremy Antonoff in the big blind and he called all-in for less.

Antonoff: 8d8c
Crooks: 9d9c

Another dominated at-risk hand and it was a clean AcKdTdJd2s board to send Antonoff out.

Shortly after, Collin Yashar was eliminated by Aaron Shepard in 22nd place.

Andre Crooks – 1,500,000 (25 bb)
Jeremy Antonoff – Eliminated in 23rd place ($6,281)
Collin Yashar – Eliminated in 22nd place ($6,281)
David Bell – Eliminated in 21st place ($7,888)

Main Event: Joseph Irson – 24th Place ($6,821)

Players Remaining: 23 of 1,509
Average Stack: 1,570,000 (26 bb)

Joseph Irson opened under the gun and Luis Torres three-bet shoved from the cutoff. The button and blinds released and Irson quickly called to see a cooler.

Torres: AsAd
Irson: KsKd

A tough hand to catch with a short stack and nothing changed as the dealer ran out Qd8s2sQc9s to drop the Main Event to 23 players.

Luis Torres – 2,600,000 (43 bb)
Joseph Irson – Eliminated in 24th place ($6,821)

Main Event Day 3: Joel Schmidt – 26th Place ($4,966)

$1,100 WPTDeepStacks Main Event
Level 25: 25,000/50,000 with a 5,000 ante
Players Remaining: 25 of 1,509
Average Stack: 1,510,000 (30 bb)

Joel Schmidt

Joel Schmidt moved all-in for ~700,000 and Dantonio Brown called from the big blind.

Brown: AsKc
Schmidt: AhQh

Another short stack dominated and Brown never had a sweat as the board ran AcJc9s7d4h to send Schmidt out in 26th place.

While that hand was happening, Jacobo Fernandez was eliminated on Table 16.

Dantonio Brown – 6,100,000 (122 bb)
Joel Schmidt – Eliminated in 26th place ($4,966)
Jacobo Fernandez – Eliminated in 25th place ($4,966)

Main Event Day 3: Bundhit Intachai – 27th Place ($4,966)

Players Remaining: 26 of 1,509
Average Stack: 1,450,000 (29 bb)

It was a quick start to the day when Collin Yashar found a double up through Jeremy Antonoff on one of the first hands then Bundhit Intachai took a shot to double up his short stack.

Timothy Banks called his shove and Intachai was in trouble.

Banks: 9h9s
Intachai: As9c

Intachai was dominated and he found no love as the dealer ran out the 7d6h3s4cTs board for our first elimination.

Timothy Banks – 3,300,000 (66 bb)
Bundhit Intachai – Eliminated in 27th place ($4,966)

Main Event Day 3: Playing Down to a Final Table

$1,100 WPTDeepStacks Main Event
Level 25: 25,000/50,000 with a 5,000 ante
Players Remaining: 27 of 1,509

Dantonio Brown returns for Day 3 with the chip lead

After three starting flights and a long Day 2 grind, the WPTDeepStacks Main Event is down to 27 players from the 1,509 starting entries. They return at noon and will continue until they form the final table nine for the live-stream on Tuesday.

Day 2 saw 264 players return to play down to the money and WSOP Circuit winner Alex Foxen held the starting chip lead. Despite the advantage, Foxen was not among the survivors at the end of the day.

Three members of the Seminole Hard Rock poker team made it through to Day 2 but Jessica Dawley and Faraz Jaka dropped short of the money. That left Loni Harwood carrying the SHRP banner and she finished Day 2 strong and will return today with a top ten stack.

Dantonio Brown will start Day 3 with a big chip lead and he’s practically guaranteed to book the biggest win of his career. We have an impressive gang coming back including TK Miles, Aaron Massey, Marc Levy, Luke Brereton, Charlemagne Benjamin, and 2015 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown final table member Andre Crooks.

They’ll kick things off at noon with 22 minutes left in Level 25 and continue playing down until we have only nine players remaining with a chance for the title.
