Event 5 Flight C: Third of Three

Two flights for Event 6 are locked down with one more left to go today. It’s the third of six starting flights for the $150 buy-in/$150,000 Guarantee tournament and it looks like we’ll easily hit the magic number.

Players begin with 10,000 starting stacks and the tournament runs 30-minute levels from start to finish. Late registration is open until the start of Level 7 at 10:20pm with unlimited re-entries during that time. Play will conclude at the end of Level 14 and those with chips will bag them up for Day 2 on Wednesday.

Event 5 Flight B: Afternoon Grind

$150 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 1: 25/50

The second flight is ready to go for the $150 buy-in/$150,000 Guaranteed Event 5. The tournament is already on pace to hit that mark with a big field already counted from this morning’s flight.

This afternoon’s session will run the same as the rest. Entrants will start with 10,000 stacks and play 30-minute levels throughout the tournament. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 7 at 6:20pm and they will play 14 levels before survivors bag up their chips for a return on Wednesday.

Flight B will keep the ballroom hopping and we’ll keep an eye on them as they progress through the day.

Event 5 Flight A: Small Buy-in; Big Prize Pool

Level 1: 25/50

Monday morning poker in the ballroom brings about the smallest buy-ins of the main events on the schedule but it will produce a big prize pool with six flights to run it up.

Event 5 is a $150 buy-in No Limit Hold’em tournament with a huge $150,000 guaranteed prize pool. There are six flights over the next two days with plenty of chances at the big money.

Players start with 10,000 stacks out front and the tournament will run 30-minute levels from start to finish. Late registration is open until the start of Level 7 at 2:20pm with unlimited re-entries during that time. Play is scheduled to run 14 full levels and survivors will bag up their chips for a Day 2 return on Wednesday.

Cards fly at 11am and we’ll keep an eye on them in the busy ballroom.

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood Property Update

Preparations are underway for the development of an iconic hotel tower and resort:

  • Parking – Poker players are encouraged to park in Winner’s Way Garage to access both the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown tournament space and The Poker Room
  • The Poker Room – Players may access the poker room by entering through the main lobby or via the exterior entrance on the opposite end of Winner’s Way Garage.
  • Inside hotel – Services and amenities inside the hotel will remain open along with regularly scheduled events and entertainment.
