Nachum Lumelski

Gui Van opened to 85,000 from the button and Nachum Lumelski three-bet to 225,000 from the big blind. Van called to the AhJsTc flop and both players checked.

Lumelski bet 275,000 after the 3s turn, Van quickly called, and Lumelski shoved for ~550,000 after the Th river.

Another quick call from Van and he was good with As7c against Lumelski’s Qd3h. The hand sent Lumelski out in ninth place while Van took a big final table lead.

Gui Van – 3,200,000 (80 bb)
Nachum Lumelski – Eliminated in 9th place ($1,496)

Errol Rosen

Van: AhAd
Rosen: JdJh

Rosen was in trouble and could not find a save on the 8d7c2c5hKd board. Van recently lost a pot to Adam Horowitz and his 890,000 was only 15,000 more than Rosen’s.

Those 15,000 went in the next hand and Michael Levy eliminated him in 10th place.

“I need to get lucky,” Fuentes said.

Fuentes: As5s
Ritzie: JsJd

Fuentes did not get lucky on the KcKdTd flop but the Ad turn was friendly. Ritzie could not come back on the 2d river and Fuentes doubled.

Cesar Fuentes – 680,000 (23 bb)
Joseph Ritzie – 470,000 (16 bb)

Cesar Fuentes

We caught up with defending champ Cesar Fuentes in a hand with another SHRP regular, Joshua Wasserman. The board read AcQdJd5c and Fuentes had his last 250,000 in the middle.

Wasserman had him at risk with QsJs and Fuentes was looking good with JcJh. Fuentes needed to dodge the last two queens in the deck and the 4h river gave him the the big double to 780,000.
