Level 6: 200/400/50

Jayaram Kovoor-Cha

The preflop action escaped us, but we do know Jayaram Kovoor-Cha got his stack of 5,000 all in preflop and was at risk against an opponent who had him covered.

Kovoor-Cha: 6d7h
Opponent: Ad10h

Kovoor-Cha was looking for some help and he got it when the 2hQc6s flop paired his six. Neither the 5c turn nor 4h river changed a thing and Kovoor-Cha shipped the double.

Jayaram Kovoor-Cha – 10,000 (25 bb)

Nick Petrangelo & Erik Seidel

Action folded to Nick Petrangelo in the small blind and he just limped. Erik Seidel checked his option from the big and the two took a flop of 5h3s4s.

Both players checked, as they did on the Jd turn, and the 5c completed the board on the river. Petragelo bet 400 and Seidel paid it off.

Petrangelo tabled the QdQc and Seidel just smiled before sending his hand to the muck.

Nick Petrangelo – 24,500 (123 bb)
Erik Seidel – 8,000 (40 bb)

Event 17: David Stamm Doubles Through Mike Dentale

$10,000 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
$500,000 guaranteed | Structure
Level 2: 50/100
Entries: 40

David Stamm

With around 1,000 already in the pot and a board reading Ad2c6c5h, the player in the big blind checked and David Stamm, who earlier this summer topped a field of 107 players to win a $10K event at The Venetian in Las Vegas for $306,554, bet 500.

Mike Detale called from the button, the big blind folded, and the 4h completed the board on the river.

Stamm checked, Detale bet 1,500, and Stamm check-raised all in for 5,575. Dentale thought long and hard before making the call and Stamm tabled the Ah3h for the wheel.

Dentale went to muck, but Cate Hall, who was seated on the opposite end of the table, asked to see the hand since it was an all-in situation. The dealer obliged and showed Dentale’s 6d4s two pair.

David Stamm – 13,000 (130 bb)
Mike Dentale – 24,000 (240 bb)
