The last break has arrived after the end of Level 12 and players stepped away from one last 15-minute walk away from the poker room.

Since the dinner break, the entry count pushed the Event 3 prize pool over $200,000 with late registration open until the start of Day 2 tomorrow.

Event 3 Flight B: Tough Corner

Level 12: 1,000/2,000 with a 2,000 ante
Flight B Players Remaining: 108 of 255

Tristan Wade Jon Brody Michael Newman

Every table has its tough spots and landmines sitting in the various seats but we have one in the back with three talented players in a row.

Tristan Wade, Jon Brody, and Michael Newman occupy seats one through three and combined they’ve earned more than $3 million in live tournament action. Wade has the biggest title with a WSOP bracelet, Brody has a ton of WSOP final tables, and Newman just kills our tournaments.

That table will break at some point this evening but probably not quick enough for the other six players.

Event 1 Flight B: Scott Baumstein Moves Over

$560 Deeper Stack NLH (Re-Entry)
$150,000 Guaranteed | Structure
Level 11: 800/1,600 with a 1,600 ante
Flight B Players Remaining: 108 of 240

Scott Baumstein

We mentioned Michael Newman as a former champ playing today and we found another. Scott Baumstein is usually seen crushing the cash game but he slid over a few tables to take a seat after dinner.

Baumstein won the WPTDeepStacks here in January after the hurricane-postponed tournament was moved from Immokalee. The $220,000 earned was the biggest cash in his $1.8 million (so far) career.

Event 3 Flight B: Haim Toorgeman and Michael Newman Lead After Dinner

$560 Deeper Stack NLH (Re-Entry)
$150,000 Guaranteed | Structure
Level 10: 600/1,200 with a 1,200 ante
Flight B Players Remaining: 117 of 233

Haim Toorgeman

Players are back in their seats after the dinner break with 117 players remaining and 233 entries so far.

It was not tough to find the two biggest stacks in the room. They are back-to-back and impressive castles. SHRP regular Haim Toorgeman has double stacks as the foundation of his chip kingdom and his 311,400 is clear of everyone in the room. Toorgeman already has one SHRP title and more final tables than we could count.

Michael Newman looks like the second biggest stack as the 2017 Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Champ is up to 280,000 with six more levels in the day.

Event 3 Flight B: Gathering Complete

Level 9: 500/1,000 with a 1,000 ante
Flight B Entries: 213

Daniel Silva

The reunion of Event 1 final table members is complete with the entrance of Daniel Silva into the field. He picked up $43,000 yesterday evening for his second-place finish after a heads-up deal with massive chip leader Dion Jagoo.

Jagroo was also in today’s field but he’s since hit the rail and relaxing around a few long days in Event 1.

Flight B is in the last level before the dinner break. They will take off around 5:30pm and enjoy 40 minutes away from the poker room.

Event 3 Flight B: Jose Reyes Rising

$560 Deeper Stack NLH (Re-Entry)
$150,000 Guaranteed | Structure
Level 8: 400/800 with a 800 ante
Flight B Entries: 203

Jose Reyes

The entry count moved up to 200 over the last level and it continues to push the prize pool higher with each new one. The prize money now sits at $175,000 with hours of late registration available until noon tomorrow.

Jose Reyes is running up his stack this afternoon. The Event 2 winner (and Coco WSOP Circuit winner) joined the triple-digit crew this afternoon and setting himself up for a deep run this evening.

Event 3 Flight B: Cracking Aces

$560 Deeper Stack NLH (Re-Entry)
$150,000 Guaranteed | Structure
Level 7: 300/600 with a 600 ante
Flight B Entries: 196

Heitor Saraiva

Coolers happen and bad beats along with them. Heitor Saraiva turned one into the other.

An opponent was all in with aces and Saraiva had to come along with kings. Usually a tough situation and the cause of a re-entry but Saraiva found a king on the flop to slam into the lead. To rub a little salt in his opponent’s wound, Saraiva capped it off with the case king on the turn to knock one out and move up to 100,000.

Event 3 Flight B: Another Comeback

$560 Deeper Stack NLH (Re-Entry)
$150,000 Guaranteed | Structure
Level 6: 300/500 with a 500 ante
Flight B Entries: 169

Bill Farnan

We’re having a nice reunion today in the poker room as Bill Farnan, another seat recipient courtesy of a deep Event 1 run, grabbed his seat this afternoon. He finished seventh out of 1,045 entries for a five-digit payday after coming back for an extra day.

That’s not the first good score for the SHRP regular. After a little research, we could not find a tournament cash for Farnan further out than January 2017 but he managed to push his career earnings over $100,000 in less than 18 months. His big finishes include a win in the August Big Stack Special and a second place in the December Big Stack Special then closed out his 2017 with a Fun in the Sun title.
