The $400 Six-Max tournament did not create much suspense when it came to meeting the $50,000 guarantee. The entry count hit 148 during Level 4 to put the prize pool over $50,000 as they get ready to head on break.

Stuart Greenbaum was in his seat early and the Poker Room regular is looking for his first major SHRP title. He has wins in Tampa and Coconut Creek and also in our Poker Room, but not a major on his home turf despite several close calls.

The Six-Max tournament is getting a nice turnout in the early afternoon with nearly 100 jumping in quickly. It is more than halfway towards its $50,000 guarantee and it will get there before too long.

A few familiar faces include Oneil McCalla, Event 6 final table member Kharlin Sued, Wally Maddah, and Jeffrey Trudeau Jr.

Another new SHRPO tournament gets underway at noon with a short-handed format for those who like that kind of action. Event 10 is a $400 Six-Max No Limit Hold’em tournament with a $50,000 guaranteed prize pool.

Players start with 15,000 stacks and all levels will run for 30 minutes. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 at 4:30 pm with a single re-entry available if needed. They have a 40-minute dinner break at 6:30 pm and will play down to the Event 10 champion when they return.
