The big Event 5 final table wasn’t the only game in the room on Wednesday, we also had a big one-day tournament on the schedule. The $200 Quad Stack Double Green Chip Bounty drew more than 200 entries and Jason Durant walked away with the title along with $2,805 after a six-way deal.
In addition to the 40K stacks and $50 bounties, Event 6 was also a freeze-out so players needed to be careful with their one and only entry. It drew 208 players and they created a prize pool worth $23,920 to beat the $20,000 guarantee on its own plus another $10,400 in bounties.
Durant was the chip leader when the last six players decided to call it a day in the early morning. He took the top prize in the deal and earned the win after a tough battle.
