Event 3 was a long affair with a marathon Day 2 yesterday that did not come to an end until 3 am. They were set to return today for some bonus poker but the last six agreed to a deal to adjust the payouts.

Zachary Eichenbaum was one of those here in the early morning and he’s back today trying to add to the $22,235 he collected for fifth place yesterday at the Event 3 final table.

Mike Wadlow is back at the top of the counts after he climbed to 328,000 and Frank Russo took a little dip down to 190,000. We will keep an eye for our late leaders and see who bags the early lead going into Day 2.

Cesar Fuentes is cruising right along this afternoon. He’s up to 196,000 to sit among the leaders with the final break coming up. Fuentes caught a lot of those when he flopped a steel wheel, the five-high straight flush, against a rivered nut flush for a nice chunk.

We found three big stacks at three tables and each trying to take control. Frank Russo is always having a good time and even more so when he has 163,100 sitting in front of his seat.
