This is the third of three multi-flight events on the May Deep Stack Poker Series schedule. The second ran during the week with a $600 Deeper Stack that drew a nice crowd and Carlos Bermudez took home the title after a late-night six-way deal on Wednesday. He earned $29,648 and he’s back today looking for more.

Bermudez is having a nice run today so far, over 90K in the fifth level of the day.

Michael Johnson is the early front-runner with 106.000 and trying to make another deep run. He made the final table of Event 3, held the chip lead for a good amount of time, and took third place in a six-way deal for a $26,604 payday.

Flight B of May Deep Stack Poker Series Event 6 gets underway at 10 am and the $1,700 Deepest Stack tournament will be aiming for its $300,000 guarantee later today. After a great turnout for Flight A, the tournament is only 118 entries away from crossing the mark.

Players start with 50,000 out front and all Day 1 levels last 40 minutes, going up to 60 minutes on Day 2 and increasing to 90 starting with Level 23. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Day 2 on Sunday at noon.

We expect a great weekend to close out the series.
