Event 6 Day 1B: Mike Chiappetta Bags the Lead

$1,700 Deepest Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)

Level 13:  1,500/2,500 with a 2,500 ante
Day 1B Players Remaining:  22 of 115

Mike Chiappetta

Flight B came to an end with 22 of 115 advancing, Mike Chiappetta bagged the overall chip lead so far with 544,000 and Howard Feingold was the second biggest with 483,000.

While Flight B did not push the prize pool over the $300,000 guarantee, there are already enough registered for Flight C tomorrow to cross the mark.

The full chip count list will be posted as soon as it is available.

Top five Flight B stacks:

Mike Chiappetta – 544,000
Howard Feingold – 483,000
Eric Bonin – 475,000
Joe McCray – 450,000
Alexander Ziskin – 412,000

Event 6 Day 1B: New Arrivals

$1,700 Deepest Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
$300,000 Guaranteed | Structure
Level 13:  1,500/2,500 with a 2,500 ante
Day 1B Entries:  115

Ian O’Hara

Thanks to the deep, slow structure, we still see players entering late in the day trying to build up a Day 2 stack including Ian O’Hara and Richard Rice.

The field is only three new entries away from matching the $300,000 guarantee and it will be a tight race but will definitely get there before cards go in the air for Flight C.

Richard Rice

Event 6 Day 1B: Howard Feingold Continues to Lead

$1,700 Deepest Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
$300,000 Guaranteed | Structure

Day 1B Entries:  113

Howard Feingold

Players returned from the final break with 113 entries and six tables remaining. We expect the remaining count to drop faster than the new entry count and they will get close to three tables by the end of the night.

Howard Feingold took the lead after dinner break and he held the top spot an hour later. He is the only player over 300K with Doug Decker the closest with 293,500.

Howard Feingold – 300,500 (150 bb)
Doug Decker – 293,500 (147 bb)

Event 6 Day 1B: Last Break

$300,000 Guaranteed | Structure
Level 11:  1,000/1,500 with a 1,500 ante
Day 1B Entries:  112

Players are heading off for their last break of the day, 10 minutes to freshen their minds and return for three more levels before bagging up.

The entry count is up to 112 for the day to leave the field only a half dozen entries away from hitting the $300,000 guarantee.

Event 6 Day 1B: Howard Feingold Moving Up

$1,700 Deepest Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
$300,000 Guaranteed | Structure

Day 1B Entries:  108

Howard Feingold

Howard Feingold is the latest to spin up a stack late in Flight B. He’s up to 245,000 in the last level before the last break. Feingold had a big run a few months ago when he finished 12th in the Tampa Poker Classic Main Event for $15,805.

Flight B will play out Level 11 and take one last 10-minute break before returning for the last three levels of the day.

Event 6 Day 1B: Michael Johnson Eliminated by Adil Khan

$1,700 Deepest Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
$300,000 Guaranteed | Structure
Level 10:  500/1,500 with a 1,500 ante
Day 1B Entries:  103

Adil Khan

Michael Johnson opened the action from early position, picked up one call, and Adil Khan moved all in for 59,000 from the big blind. Johnson called and their other opponent folded after a minute to think it through.

Khan: AdKc
Johnson: 9c8d

Johnson was drawing live for a double and paired his eight on the 8c7d3s flop to take the lead. It was short-lived though because Khan hit the Ac turn to retake the lead. The board finished with the Th river and Johnson was eliminated.

“Good game,” a tablemate said to Johnson.

“I’m not done!” Johnson laughed as he headed back to the cage to re-enter.

Adil Khan – 139,000 (139 bb)
